Crete is part of Greece, the cradle of Western civilization. This land still inspires us today with its pantheon of gods. The philosophy of Socrates, Plato, and Aristotle resonates here, as do epic poems such as the Iliad and the Odyssey, and the legendary conquests of Alexander the Great. Crete will further impress us with the remains of the Minoan culture, which developed on this very island.
The GODDESSES call us, and new KNOWLEDGE awaits us.
There will be organised surprise trips, where we will explore the remains of the ancient Minoan culture, the energy, and the goddesses of the island.
We will also learn about why and how people differ in our basics (physical, mental, etc.). Why we look different, why we age differently, why we think differently, and why we react differently. We will each find our own path, our own methods, our own healthy habits in the field of body care, nutrition, exercise, and mental hygiene.
With the awareness we will develop, we will more easily understand the actions and reactions of people around us, which can also have a positive impact on our family, business, and other relationships.

WHAT WILL WE DO?
We will:
-Practice yoga and meditate. Every day, we will have Vinyasa yoga, Face yoga, and Yoga nidra exercises.
-Learn about doshas based on the knowledge from Ayurveda. Lectures will be both theoretical and practical in nature.
-Create your own beauty ritual.
-Practice 2 hours of silence every day - so that everyone will have the opportunity to connect with themselves, with their inner goddesses.
-Dance, sing.
-Sunbathe on the beach, and swim in the sea and in the swimming pool.
-Eat healthy Mediterranean (vegetarian, gluten-free) food.
-Talk, get to know each other, learn from each other.

VILLA
We will be staying in a villa with a swimming pool right by the sea. The villa is in the area of Skaleta, near Rethymno. Spacious, brand new (built at the end of 2019), elegant, and offers the most beautiful view of the Mediterranean Sea.
It is a ground-floor building. The interior of the villa, measuring 220 square meters, has been carefully designed for comfort and style. There are a total of 6 bedrooms: 4 with double beds and 2 with twin beds; all with private bathrooms, air conditioning, and satellite TV.

- If you want to be alone in the room, an additional payment of 300 euros will be charged.
PROGRAM
AYURVEDA
Ayurveda is the oldest science of life, originating in India, and studies the connections between the body, mind, and spirit to maintain health and well-being. Its basic philosophy is based on the balance of three vital energies or principles called doshas.
Doshas are three life forces or energies that control physiological and psychological processes in the body and mind. These doshas are called:
-Vata (the elements of space and air), which regulates movement, breathing, circulation, and nervous function;
-Pitta (the elements of fire and water), which governs digestion, metabolism, and the transformation of physical and mental processes;
-Kapha (the elements of water and earth), which creates the body's structure, moisturizes tissues, and is responsible for growth and stability.
Each person has their own unique combination of these three doshas, which determine their physical and mental constitution (prakruti). A balance of these doshas leads to health, while an imbalance (vikruti) can cause disease. Ayurveda uses special methods and lifestyle habits (diet and herbs) to help maintain or restore balance between the doshas and ensure individual health.
I will teach you:
-How to identify your dominant dosha.
-How to prepare a daily Ayurvedic menu for each dosha.
-Simple Ayurvedic exercises to balance each dosha.

Face Yoga
With the help of Ayurveda and Face yoga we will create a beauty ritual. Face yoga is an exercise that activates, strengthens, and relaxes the muscles of the face and neck. It helps to lift and tone the skin, reduce wrinkles, improve skin radiance, and shape the face.
It works as a natural way of rejuvenation, as the muscles gain volume and correct position with exercise, and the skin becomes firmer and more elastic. In addition to the beauty effects of face yoga, it also has a beneficial effect on the hormonal system, relieves stress, and improves overall well-being.
As my gift to you, I will prepare an individualized sequence of face yoga exercises (and implementation procedures) that will be designed specifically for you and your wishes/needs.
Vinyasa Flow Yoga
I base my yoga teaching on Vinyasa yoga because I find it to have a bit more yin (feminine) energy than other forms of exercise. This is expressed through the fluidity and connection of the poses, the synchronization between body movement and breath, and my main principle: “Listen to your body.”
Vinyasa flow yoga is a holistic and progressive approach to yoga, based on the traditional yoga concepts, techniques, and philosophies, while also taking into account newer scientific findings, the correlation between the mind and the body, personal cycles, and the cycles of our mother nature.
The purpose of this method is to create a safe and healing yoga practice. Through modifications and variations of poses, each practitioner can practice safely and in accordance with their current physical capabilities.

Q&A's
Do I need prior experience with yoga to join the retreat?
-No, you do not need any prior yoga knowledge or experience. All exercises and the rest of the program are designed to be suitable for all levels (whether you are a beginner or experienced in yoga).
What will the food be like? What if I have a special diet?
-The breakfasts, lunches and dinners included in the price will be gluten-free, sugar-free, and cow's milk-free. All meals will be based on nutritious, locally sourced, and wholesome ingredients. Please let us know about any other dietary restrictions you might have.
What about transportation?
-Transportation in Crete will be organized. We can also arrange for shared transportation from our homes to the airport; in this case, we share the travel costs.
What is the weather like in Crete in October? Can I still swim in the sea?
-Temperatures are usually between 21 and 26 degrees Celsius during the day and 18-20 degrees Celsius at night. The water is around 22 -24 degrees. The days are mostly sunny, with little rain. This usually means that temperatures are pleasant, and it is possible to swim in the sea.
Are flights included in the price?
No, flights and travel insurance are not included in the retreat package. Participants are responsible for their own travel arrangements to and from Crete.
What if I have medical conditions or concerns?
-Please let me know in advance. I will do my best to accommodate your needs. I also recommend that you consult with your chosen doctor before traveling.
What do I need to bring with me?
-Appropriate clothing (for the beach, exercise), one white dress or white T-shirt, and pants/skirt, and personal care items. I will provide the yoga mats, so you don't need to bring one with you.
What if I can not make it to the retreat after I have booked?
-If you are booked and then cancel your arrival in the last 45 days before the start of the yoga retreat (31.8.2026 or later), the payment of 300eur is not refundable! The remaining amount paid will be refunded. If you cancel before 31.8.2026, the entire amount paid will be refunded.
